Who Are We?
Today in the Word is a Bible-teaching ministry that began in February 1988. The daily devotional is published by Moody Bible Institute. Through our undergraduate college and seminary, radio and media, and books and conferences, Moody Bible Institute is taking the truth and hope of Jesus Christ to all the world. Moody proclaims the gospel to the lost, equips Christians to flourish in their faith, and trains current and future leaders to boldly follow Christ no matter how He calls them. How Can I Get the Daily Devotional?
Today in the Word’s daily devotional is available through an app, email, web, podcast, and print magazine. You can download the app or sign up here.
There is no charge to receive this daily devotional. We are 100 percent reader-supported and grateful for the generous friends who donate to help make this Bible-teaching ministry possible. Your gifts also make this life-changing Bible resource available to more than 6,500 inmates each month.
What Will We Be Studying?
Each month we study a book of the Bible or a biblical topic. Each study is authored by a Moody Bible Institute professor who will lead you through through daily Scripture readings with helpful commentary, discussion questions for reflection or group discussion, and a closing prayer.
One thing to know about Today in the Word is that we don’t avoid the difficult portions of Scripture. So, if you study with us on a consistent basis, you will make your way through every book of the Bible!
